# Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GigMeUp, a marketplace operated by Digidext Corp (Pty) Ltd.
## 1. Account & roles
You may register as a Customer (booking musicians) or Musician (offering performances). You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account.
## 2. Bookings, payment & escrow
All bookings are made through GigMeUp. Customer payments are held in escrow until the event is completed. Musicians are paid out after the configured hold window (currently 1 day), subject to dispute resolution.
## 3. Off-platform booking
Once introduced through GigMeUp, both parties agree to keep all communication, payment and contracting on the platform. Bypassing the platform forfeits any payment guarantee, voids the performance contract and may result in account suspension.
## 4. Conduct
Threats, harassment, fraud, or attempts to bypass payment moderation result in account suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts.
## 5. Liability
GigMeUp is a venue for booking; performance quality and event execution are the responsibility of the performer. GigMeUp's liability is capped at the platform fees retained on the affected booking.
## 6. Changes
We may amend these terms with 14 days' notice for material changes.
